By the decree of the president of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin, the rector of SPbPU A.I. Rudskoy has been awarded the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of I class

By the Presidential Decree of December 22, 2015 No. 649 "On conferring state awards of the Russian Federation", the rector of Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University A.I. Rudskoy has been awarded the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of I class for the "merits in the development of education, academic and pedagogical activity, and great contribution to training of highly qualified specialists".

It is worth noting that in 2008 Andrey Ivanovich was awarded the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of II class for "accomplishments in education and for many years of fruitful work".

A.I. Rudskoy - Doctor of Engineering Science, professor, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences – is a winner of the RF Government Awards in Education (2008), and in Science and Technology (2013). He is also a full member of several public Academies of the Russian Federation.
