Polytech`s name

Founded 120 years ago as St. Petersburg St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute, our university had many names in the course of its history, following changes in the country’s history and the demands of industrial development. However, the major goal of the school had always been the same: training highly qualified specialists in engineering and economics.

the previous Leningrad M.I. Kalinin Polytechnic Institute name was restored
