Calligraphy Class for SPbPU Students in Jiangsu Normal University

The visit to Jiangsu Normal University in March 2016 became very important for the student delegation of SPbPU. They gladly participated in different activities aimed at the rapprochement between the youth of Russia and China. All of the days spent in China were filled with interesting discoveries and events, each becoming a personal achievement and a small victory on the way to understanding the culture and traditions of China. The same applied to the calligraphy class which took place in JNU.

The organizers of this creative event helped our students to master the art of Chinese writing and create their own drawings, which had special meaning. It is worth noting, that the Chinese people put a great meaning into the characters, and painting is their individual life philosophy and perception of the world.

In the conclusion of the class the calligraphy teacher presented a drawing showing Chinese characters to the student delegation of SPbPU, a symbolic message to the Polytechnic University, as an expression of special gratitude, respect and recognition on behalf of the whole Chinese nation. We are sure, that this valuable gift will bring success and prosperity to our university.
