SPbPU Hosted the Meeting of the Coordination Council of the Scientific and Educational Medical Cluster "Translational Medicine"

On March 31, 2016, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University hosted the fourth meeting of the Coordination Council of the Scientific and Educational Medical Cluster "Translational Medicine" (SEMC). The meeting was attended by E.V.Shlyakhto, Director General of Federal Almazov North-West Medical Research Center, A.I. Rudskoy, SPbPU Rector, and other representatives of universities and companies, who are SEMC members.

In his opening speech SPbPU Rector A. I. Rudskoy reminded that SEMC "Translational Medicine" is the platform that consolidates efforts which have to ensure the innovative development of medicine and healthcare, a swift launch of scientific inventions into medicine.

One of the most important was the report of SPbPU Rector A.I. Rudskoy where he revealed information on cooperation of the Polytechnic University with Chinese partners and signing the agreement with the BioMedical Association, Shanghai, within SEMC "Translational Medicine".
