Information Centers
Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU) is actively developing international cooperation, including through the establishment of information centers abroad. Information centers play an important role in promoting the university, including its educational programs and research areas, and also provide support to students and applicants from other countries.
Main functions:
- Information Support: The centers provide information on study programs, admission requirements, scholarships, and other opportunities for international students.
- Counseling: The centers’ specialists help potential students and their parents navigate the admissions process, choosing a major, and adapting to studying in Russia.
- Cultural Exchanges: The information centers facilitate cultural events that help international students better understand Russian culture and traditions.
- Networking: The centers also work to establish connections with other educational institutions and organizations in the countries where they operate, facilitating the development of academic exchanges and joint programs.
For international students, the presence of information centers simplifies the process of obtaining an education in Russia, as they have access to necessary information and support in their native language. This reduces barriers and makes education more accessible.
