Internship in Regional Studies
Closing Date: 31 December 2024

Higher School of International Relations at the Institute of Humanities offers a 3-month scientific internship program in the field of "Foreign regional studies: European research" in the scientific research lab “Tandem-method in foreign language teaching within the framework of the multilingual approach”. The program covers project introduction, tasks development, and research under the guidance of a scientific advisor. Multilingual learning with the tandem-method ensures not only intensification of today’s professional linguistic education, but it also empowers learners to study languages independently.

We invite highly motivated postgraduate students and postdocs (with a Master’s Degree or PhD) interested in researching the methodology of foreign language teaching.

The scope of work in the framework of the research project is the following: joint publications affiliated with SPbPU; development of additional international education programs, a mobile application, training manuals, joint scientific advisory of bachelor’s- and master’s degree students; applications for international projects and financial grants.

The internship is free of charge; during the internship, it is possible to get employed as a Visiting Professor; the free accommodation is provided in the university dormitory. Applications are accepted throughout the year, except for the summer break. Internships will be held from September 15 to December 15 or from February 15 to April 15.
