International Polytechnic Week 2018

Dear Partners!

We have a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Forum “International Polytechnic Week 2018” at our University on May 14-20, 2018.

The key theme of the Forum will be the discussion of partnership fundraising opportunities within Erasmus+ programme. On May 15, 2018, a special seminar will be held with involvement of external experts. The aim of the seminar is to share experience in Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships and Erasmus+ Capacity Building in the field of higher education and to discuss the possibilities of creating consortiums with partner universities in order to submit joint applications in the near future.

The second focus of the Forum this year will be cooperation with universities of the Ibero-American region: on May 14, 2018, a series of thematic events will be devoted to the best practices in this area.

On May 16, 2018 the "Student Day" will be held. For students there will be a number of presentations on the possibilities of studying abroad; SPbPU academic mobility programs and international educational programs will be also presented. During the International Education Fair our partner universities will present their programs. At the Fair a quest will be held, so that the students will have the opportunity to learn more about participating universities and to win prizes.

Within the "Science Day" on May 17, 2018, the Forum guests will get acquainted with the history of SPbPU, to visit campus and key labs.

The conference "Current issues of teaching international students" will begin its work for international and Russian participants of the Forum on May 18, 2018.

The scientific program of the Forum includes thematic seminars, scientific conferences and roundtables for lecturers, researchers and specialists.

For all our guests we offer open Russian language interactive courses and social programme, including a visit to the concert in the White Hall of SPbPU.
