Presentation of UNO Car

On December 1 at 5 p.m.in the lobby of SPbPU Research Building presentation of the first St. Petersburg's sports car of the world racing series "Formula Student" will be made.

Not only the guests will be able to see a unique racing car UNO, but also get acquainted with the history of creating the car. Such representatives of SPbPU management as the Rector of the University A.I Rudskoy, the Vice Rector for Scientific Work O. N. Ostapenko, the Director of Institute of Power and Transport Systems N. A. Zabelin will welcome the designers and developers of the car. After the formal presentation of the car the guests will be able to continue communicating in informal setting.

It is a reminder that, Formula Student is an engineering competition in which thousands of university students from many different countries of the world have been participating for more than 30 years. As part of the project the student's group turns into a small automobile company with a distinct structure and a well-elaborated business plan. The purpose of the company is to design and test a prototype of the racing car, and then to prove to the representatives of the jury that the product is competitive in the world automobile market.
