Rules for exiting the Russian Federation
An international student who has completed his/her studies must return to their home countries with a transit visa.
In case if an international student is to be expelled from the University for any reason, he/she is provided with a transit visa (the duration of his/her stay in Russia is reduced). For processing a transit visa, the student must urgently come to the Passport and Visa Department to agree on the date of departure from the Russian Federation. The term of issuance of a transit visa, in case the ticket is available, is no less than 10 days
In case of not leaving the Russian Federation within a specified time, the foreign national will be deported; re-entry into the territory of the Russian Federation will be banned for such person for up to 5 years.
