“Omnivores” - in the semifinals of the international championship “Battle of the Robots”
IMM&T students from the «Omnivores» team are preparing for the semifinals of the international engineering championship «Battle of the Robots». Within the framework of the competition it is necessary to design a real combat controlled robot and win over the opponent.
The guys started creating their robot honey-eater back in the summer at the Center for Youth Project Activities «Boiling Point — Fablab». They successfully passed the qualifying round and won two bouts, which led them to the semifinals of the project. Now the polytechnic are determined only to win!
On December 16 in Moscow will be held semifinals and finals of the competition, but you can already support the «Omnivores» in the voting for the prize of audience sympathy, which is held in the official group of the championship VKontakte.
In 2021, the company and the university signed an agreement on digital development. Rostelecom supports the education of in-demand specialists and helps SPbPU to become a high-tech platform. The guys are also assisted by experienced mentors — employees of CPDM (Center).
The competition is organized by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, Promobot and Double U Expo.
