Polytech is a leader in graduate job placement

Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University achieved high results in the National Graduate Employment Ranking — 2026, confirming its status as one of Russia’s leading engineering universities.

The ranking was based on two key indicators: the employment rate of graduates two years after graduation and their salary levels.

Polytechnic University ranked among the leaders in several broad groups of specialisations and training areas. In particular, master’s degree graduates in the «Information Security» group took first place among master’s degree graduates from all Russian universities. SPbPU also entered the top 10 in the groups «Construction Technology and Engineering» (fourth place), «Industrial Ecology and Biotechnology» (fourth place), «Electrical and Thermal Power Engineering» (fifth place), and others.

At the bachelor’s degree level, SPbPU also demonstrates strong positions: the university is among the leaders in the specialisation groups «Light Industry Technology» (first place), «Technospheric Safety and Environmental Engineering» (second place), «Management in Technical Systems» (third place), and others.

Polytechnic University’s high rankings reflect the demand for its graduates in the labour market and the practice-oriented nature of its educational programs.
