Polytechnic University is in the TOP-15 best universities in Russia according to the results of the Interfax National ranking
Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University ranked 14th according to the results of the 11th annual National University Ranking (NUR) published by the international information group Interfax.
SPbPU scored 662 points and ranked 14th in the assessment of the activities of 337 leading Russian universities. The ranking includes 29 national research universities, 10 federal universities, 33 flagship universities, as well as 21 universities participating in Project 5-100.
SPbPU showed the greatest dynamics (four positions up) in terms of “Innovation and Technological Entrepreneurship”, having received 552 points and 17th place among 337 universities participating in the Russian ranking.
According to the “Research and Development” and "Internationalization" indicators, Polytechnic University improved its position in comparison with the previous year, moving to 12th place in both indicators. The university’s contribution to the development of the social environment, aimed at the indicators of scientific and pedagogical workers’ average salary, continuing education, the quality of the campus, social programs and the university’s engagement in the development and implementation of the country, region, and city’s programs for the socio-economic development, was also positively assessed: compared to 2019, SPbPU rose from 28th to 25th place.
