SPbPU in the top 5 for education according to Interfax

Interfax has published the results of the National University Ranking 2023, in which SPbPU is among the top 15 universities in Russia. In the education category the university ranked fifth, scoring 923 points out of a possible 1000.

Rector of SPbPU Andrei Rudskoi commented on SPbPU’s high ranking in education: The independent examination of the university’s key areas of activity allows us to assess opportunities and points of growth that will help us become even more competitive in the educational services market, more in demand among applicants and employers.

Priority orientation of Polytech to the development of corporate educational programs with key, first of all industrial, partners is already giving results. When designing programs jointly the main emphasis is made on their interdisciplinary, «learning by doing» through project activities, increasing the volume of practical training focused on the solution of real tasks from employers, including at the sites of enterprises, providing the best students with employment opportunities while still studying, construction of individual educational trajectories. Of course, special attention is paid to the formation of digital competencies of graduates.

Polytech has risen by 11 lines in the «socialization» section compared to last year.

The ranking study included an evaluation of 368 Russian universities based on questionnaires, publicly available data and information from SPARK-Interfax and SCAN-Interfax information-analytical systems. The performance of universities was evaluated on six parameters: education, research, social environment, cooperation, innovation and entrepreneurship, and brand.
