SPbPU took first place among Russian universities in the Shanghai Ranking

Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University took 1st place among Russian universities in the authoritative global ranking Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) in the subject area Metallurgical Engineering. St. Petersburg SPbPU scored 93.5 points and entered the group of universities ranked 151−200.

First place in the subject area 'Metallurgical Engineering' is a direct result of the university’s systematic work in this field. It is worth noting that 'Materials, Technologies, Manufacturing' is one of the three key scientific and technological profiles of Polytech’s activity, and here we demonstrate impressive results. And the high qualifications of the teaching staff, the quality of the scientific work of the university’s researchers and the number of publications in authoritative scientific journals ultimately produce a synergetic effect that made it possible to take high positions in the ranking, commented SPbPU Rector Andrei Rudskoi.
