SPbPU has been licensed for new five educational programs

April 20, 2017 the licences to carry out educational activities were presented at the Situation and Information Centre of The Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor). Documents confirming undergoing certification procedures were handed to universities’ representatives by Mr. S. Kravtsov, the Head of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science.

SPbPU has been licensed for new five educational programs

Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University gained the licence to perform educational activity for 2 Master’s Degree programs – ‘Urban Development’ and ‘Biotechnology’, and also for 3 Bachelor’s Degree Programs: ‘Technologies for Material-craft Processing’, ‘Tourism’ and ‘Hospitality Industry’.

As the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Mrs. E.M. Razinkina, noticed the launch of new programs in-demand is provided under SPbPU Academic Policy. 'We have successfully passed on-site inspection suggesting the conditions to develop and carry out educational programs are appropriate. The Institute of Civil Engineering (ICE), the Institute of Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering and Transport (IMMET), the Institute of Industrial Management, Economics and Trade (IIMET) and the Graduate school of Biotechnology and Food Science demonstrated a high level of staff performance and methodological support, and modern material and technical resources as well. For instance, a Testing Laboratory for Stoving Enamels Laboratory for the purpose of the Bachelor’s Degree program ‘Technologies for Material-craft Processing’ was opened at IMMET.

Admission starts in 2018.
