The 2025 international education exhibition season concluded with the participation of a delegation from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University at the ninth exhibition-presentation of Russian education, «Study in Russia!» held in Kazakhstan.

Polytech Delegation at the Exhibition in Astana

The event served as a platform for dialogue with future students and their parents. Over the course of two days, the exhibition was visited by more than 3,500 people. The exposition featured 43 leading universities from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, and other Russian cities. The Polytechnic University’s booth generated significant interest among visitors—hundreds of prospective students stopped by to learn about the opportunities for studying at one of the country’s leading technical universities.

The Event Served as a Platform for Dialogue with Future Students and Their Parents

Anastasia Prokopchuk, Deputy Head of the International Education Office, and Evgenia Borodina, a specialist from the Department of International Educational Programs and Academic Mobility, conducted individual consultations over the two days. They provided detailed information about bachelor’s, master’s, and postgraduate programs, admission requirements, campus accommodation, and career prospects. Special emphasis was placed on the admission procedure under the Russian Government quota and opportunities for compatriots.

The most sought-after educational fields among applicants were construction, software engineering and applied computer science, applied mathematics and physics, electric power engineering and mechanical engineering, design, as well as management and business informatics.

Participation in the «Study in Russia!» exhibition allowed Polytechnic University to strengthen its position in the educational market of Kazakhstan, establish direct contact with the target audience, and analyze the demands of future students to further improve career guidance work.
