A joint competition for students of SPbPU and KRSU is launched

Within the framework of scientific, methodological and resource support for the implementation of activities of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University development program, a visit of SPbPU representatives, Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Design and Architecture, Institute of Civil Engineering Tatiana Diodorova and Director of the Digital Engineering Center for Continuing Professional Education of the Advanced Engineering Studies in Digital Engineering Sergey Salkutsan to KRSU took place.

During the business meetings and negotiations with the university management the issues of cooperation between KRSU and Polytechnic were discussed. In particular, in order to develop cooperation between the Institute of Civil Engineering of SPbPU and the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction, they discussed the issue of holding a joint student competition to develop a corporate identity for KRSU.

Students from both universities will take part in the competition and will work under the guidance of experienced mentors. Tatyana Diodorova, member of the Union of Designers of Russia, will be a mentor on the part of SPbPU, and Beisen Kariev, head of the department and chairman of the Union of Architects of the Kyrgyz Republic, will help students from KRSU.

Discussing the issue of holding a joint student competition to develop a corporate identity for KRSU

The competition will be held in three stages, allowing participants to delve deeper into the process of creating and developing concepts of style, as well as learn the history of KRSU and the culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. The first phase of the competition will be an exploratory phase, including a series of meetings with KRSU leadership to set a goal and immerse themselves in the history of the university and the culture of the country. Applications for participation can be submitted after February 10, and the contest will be finalized in April. Winners will receive prizes, as well as a unique opportunity to travel to a partner university to learn more about the culture and features of the two countries.

Within the framework of cooperation with the Advanced Engineering Studies in Digital Engineering (AES), the issues of involving KRSU students in the accelerator programs implemented by AES, as well as participation in the activities of the Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship, supervised by the Startup Center of SPbPU were discussed.

During the discussion, the «Lean University» training simulator, developed by the AES staff and part of CML-Bench®.EDU, which is being developed as an educational area of the CML-Bench® Digital Twin Platform, was presented. Based on this simulator, the KRSU management team will be trained as early as spring 2025, and in the future it will be made available to all university employees.
