Career guidance marathon started in SPbPU

On August 5, the Higher School of International Educational Programs launched a career guidance marathon for Chinese applicants planning to enroll in Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

This is an important event aimed at helping potential students better understand what the university offers and how it can meet their educational and research needs.

Holding career guidance marathons for international students in the summer period has become an annual tradition of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, and in 2024 this event again brings together talented students from China. This year the marathon is attended by a group from Wuhan Vocational Technical Institute, with which in 2024 Polytechnic University signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation. The arrival of the group was the first actual step towards strengthening friendly ties between our educational institutions.

The students will be able to visit different institutes and research laboratories of the university, where they will be told about scientific projects and innovations, as well as opportunities to participate in research activities.

The marathon participants will learn about the history of SPbPU, its role in Russian and international education.

An important part of the program will be master classes, where students will be able to improve their Russian language skills and gain a deeper understanding of Russian culture.

Students will also have an excursion to St. Petersburg, get acquainted with the city and its sights, plunge into the unique atmosphere of the Northern Capital.
