International Students of Polytech – Participants of the International Youth Forum “Russia Brought Us Together – 2026”

At the end of August, the International Youth Forum «Russia Brought Us Together — 2026» was held in the Moscow Region. The event was organized by the Association of Foreign Students of the Russian Federation (AIS) with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The forum brought together international students from various universities across the country to develop international cooperation, exchange experiences, and get acquainted with Russian culture.

As part of the Polytechnic delegation, five international students took part in the forum: Quynh Anh (Vietnam), Karin Bianca Mahlope (South Africa), Fayzullakhuzhaeva Madinakhon Makhsudkhon kizi (Turkmenistan), Aya Saada (Algeria), and Petrosse Manyisa (Mozambique).

The forum program included educational intensives, project sessions, team‑building activities, and excursions. Participants had meetings with experts, trainings on student media development, and project work. The students were particularly impressed by the excursion program, which included a visit to the Main Temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the museum complex «The Road of Memory. 1418 Steps to Victory» on the territory of Patriot Park.

Polytechnic students actively engaged in the forum’s activities. They took part in ice‑breaking games, danced and sang around the evening bonfire, and got acquainted with the traditional games of different peoples.

Karin Bianca Mahlope shared her impressions: We truly had a wonderful time, and it was a great blessing for us. Friendships were formed among us, and this has benefited us in many ways. I wish for many, many more such events.

Fayzullakhuzhaeva Madinakhon also noted the importance of making new acquaintances and the warm atmosphere of the forum: Everything was very interesting and fun. At first, there was a game so that we could get to know each other in groups. Then there were dances and traditional games around the bonfire — I also danced and sang, it was very enjoyable because in my country, we used to play the same games in childhood. What I liked most was meeting new people. Many thanks for organizing the trip.

Participation in the forum «Russia Brought Us Together — 2026» became an important experience for Polytechnic students in international communication, professional development, and cultural enrichment. The students returned with new ideas, projects, and, most importantly, new friends from different parts of the world.
