The Bentley Systems Synchro Pro program is aimed at the formation and development of a construction organization project with the use of the information model of the object, i.e. 4D BIM (Building Information Modeling). In Russia, starting of January 1, 2024, for a chain of objects with employment of Russian Federation budget funds, the use of BIM technologies will become mandatory.

“The initial stage of BIM development in Russia is already over. The next step is to organize and manage projects using the object information model. The Synchro Pro program makes it possible to create a full-fledged 4D construction organization project, with the creation of supply chains, placement of equipment at the construction site, relocation of supplies, division of the object into work zones and tracking the amount of work performed, and compare the plan and the fact,” says the initiator of the Synchro Pro courses at Polytechnic University, Associate Professor of the SPbPU Higher School of Hydraulic and Power Engineering Marina ROMANOVICH.

Today, Peter the Great Polytechnic University is the only university in Russia that has received the status of an official educational partner of Bentley Systems. “We have been going to this for quite a long time. Difficulties in finding compromises between Russian and American legislation, the coronavirus pandemic - it was not easy to launch the project. Only thanks to the complex work of the departments of Polytechnic University, its international services, its department of scientific policy, everything worked out, and we are ready to start working in the near future,” shared Marina ROMANOVICH.

Experts from all over Russia will be able to study and hone their skills in the Synchro Pro program. For students, it is desirable to have an education in the field of construction and basic knowledge in the field of construction organization and project management.

Synchro Pro software is widely used on advanced construction sites in Italy, Austria, UK. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate from Bentley Institute, a large corporation that develops software for professionals in the construction and management of global infrastructure.

The course will have two levels: the basic and advanced. At the moment, recruitment is underway for the first stream of the main level in the online format. The duration of training is one month.

In the future, the organizers of the training plan to adapt the Synchro Pro courses to the needs of each client: to create full-time and online forms of training, to form programs of various levels of complexity, including preparatory. At the end of the training, students will have to create their own project, present their results and management decisions.

Contact details, as well as information on the cost and schedule of courses can be obtained on the official website of the project https://www.synchropro.ru/
