RAU student communities with the support of SPbPU defined programs for the development of their areas for the academic year 2025-26

28 May 2025 International activities 289

The practical part of the RAU Student Community Accelerator was held at the site of the Polytech Boiling Point Representative Office at the Russian-Armenian University (RAU). The event was attended by about 20 people from the sports community and sports department, ART community, Media community and RAU Student Council.

Pavel Kozlovsky held classes at RAU

The classes organized at the RAU with the support of SPbPU International Services were conducted by Pavel Kozlovsky, Deputy Director of the School of Advanced Engineering Studies in Digital Engineering (AES) of SPbPU, the author of the gas pedal program. This time the focus of the meetings was on elaboration of real issues that arose during the work of the participants during the 2024-25 academic years.

On the first day, the communities briefly presented the results of their activities over the past period. Each of them has significant achievements: some of them have a multiple growth in the number of participants, others — the emergence of new directions initiated by new participants, others — great success in the formation of a unified internal team. But they still managed to keep a common set of key RAU events (Spartakiade, Universiade, RAU Talent and others), in which all communities closely cooperate with each other in their realization.

Working in groups

During the Universiade, the Spartakiade and the RAU Talent creative festival, the RAU media community actively covered all the events, promptly publishing photos, videos and text reports on the university’s official social networks and information platforms.

The RAU sports community also took an active part in organizing sporting events of the Universiade and the Spartakiade, making a significant contribution to their preparation and holding. In addition, two sports meetings were held in cooperation with St. Petersburg Polytechnic University as part of the Boiling Point. The first sports meeting was held with the participation of hockey players of the Armenian National League and players of the «Black Bears» club. The second meeting united students and basketball players: Armenian National League basketball players on one side and representatives of the «Black Bears» club on the other.

Project Presentation

During the event, the focus was on creating a community development program for the 2025-26 school year. All communities formed their understanding of how and why they will organize their activities not only on their own, but also in conjunction with the participants of other areas.

The most important focus of the 2-day work was the issue of effective allocation of internal resources of the communities for the conceived projects and activities. Much attention was paid to improving the quality of horizontal interactions between communities.
