SPbPU and RAU adapt the course “Fundamentals of Project activity” for Armenian students

Representatives of the Russian-Armenian University visited the Polytechnic University to discuss joint work on the localization of the course «Fundamentals of Project Activity».

This academic year, with the support of SPbPU, the course starts at RAU for the third time. In the academic years 2023/24 and 2024/25, students’ project activities were implemented mainly according to the Polytechnic model. However, according to the results of last year, the management, teachers and students of the RAU identified a request for localization. With the methodological and instrumental support of SPbPU, changes will be made to both theoretical and practical courses, as well as to the mentoring model. According to the representatives of RAU and SPbPU, the request for such changes is a positive signal for the full integration of the course into the main educational process, as well as a catalyst for even greater student involvement and the formation of an attractive and understandable mentor image at the Russian-Armenian University.

Colleagues from RAU and SPbPU also discussed the Polytechnic University’s experience in developing the ecosystem of university technological entrepreneurship, including on the basis of Boiling Point — Polytech, and the specifics of interaction with industrial partners and business support institutions. We agreed to jointly develop a program for the development of technological entrepreneurship at RAU, using the results of the course implementation and the functioning space «Boiling Point — RAU—SPbPU».

In addition, they discussed issues of cooperation in the development of the RAU youth communities with the support of the SPbPU Youth Policy Department. The next scheduled event is a visit of representatives of the Polytech’s youth communities to RAU in November to discuss a Roadmap for cooperation for 2026.

During the visit, methodological and substantive changes to the course were approved, and the teachers-mentors of the RAU participated in the filming of adapted videos for the course «Fundamentals of Project Activity», which will be used in the educational process of the RAU in the spring of the 2025/26 academic year.
