SPbPU expands 1C Academy educational project to CIS countries
On March 10, on the basis of the Intelligent Enterprise Technologies International Academic Competence Center, the «1C Academy: Effective Teaching of 1C Technologies in Higher Education Institutions» international professional development program was launched. The program involves 5 countries, 68 cities, 110 educational institutions and 227 participants — all of them united by their interest in advanced 1C technologies.
The program was developed by SPbPU together with 1C Company and is aimed at professional training of teachers, who get the opportunity to form appropriate courses and include 1C teaching in the curriculum of their university.

In 2025, SPbPU and 1C Company decided to expand the educational project to the CIS countries and implement the 1C Academy: Effective Teaching of 1C Technologies in Universities course in an international format.
SPbPU International Services provided assistance in disseminating information about the program and inviting partner universities from CIS countries to participate in the project. Among the extensive partner network of Polytechnic in the CIS countries, universities with a strong economic and IT profile were selected, since the educational program provides for the study of not only ready-made 1C products, but also the possibility of their extension and improvement taking into account the requirements of the curriculum of a particular university.
The interest in the training was so great that within a week both main and additional places for the trainees were filled. As a result, among the trainees of the program, in addition to representatives of Russian universities, there were more than 30% of foreign participants — 15 teachers from Uzbekistan, 14 from Kazakhstan, 45 representatives of the Republic of Belarus and 1 participant from Armenia.
During almost 4 months the course participants will study the flagship product 1C:ERP and the basics of development on the platform 1C:Enterprise. The program will include webinars on advanced methods of teaching IT technologies from 1C employees and methodologists of SPbPU.

An important result of the training is the fact that at the end of the course participants become certified teachers and receive methodological materials as a full-fledged educational product ready for implementation in their home universities. The set of materials includes lecture recordings, detailed video tutorials, tests, laboratory and practical work assembled into an online course, as well as a 1C:ERP Enterprise Management configuration created specifically for the course and hosted in the cloud.
We have been developing courses on complex IT products for quite a few years now and have been working on replicating our materials. It has become clear that it is not enough just to make good methodologies, we need to create a system of training and long-term support for teachers who will be able to effectively use such materials. This is the second Academy on 1C solutions for teachers organized by Polytechnic University. We are confident in our competencies and have received support from 1C Company — that is why we make this project truly international, contributing to the spread of advanced digital technologies in the CIS regions
said the program manager, Senior Researcher of the International Academic Center of Competence ‘Intelligent Enterprise Technologies’ Anton Ambrazhey.
