SPbPU International Review's Fifth Digest is available

The fifth issue of the SPbPU International Review Digest is out. The regular English-language edition of Polytechnic University includes the largest and most notable events of the university’s international activities over the past summer months.

The new issue begins with congratulations from the heads of foreign universities in connection with the extension of his term of office as Rector of SPbPU. Warm wishes to the Rector of SPbPU Academician Andrei RUDSKOI were sent by Sir Paul CURRAN, President of the City, University of London (until June 2021); Professor Wolfram RESSEL, Rector of University of Stuttgart; QIU Yong, President of Tsinghua University; Harald Kainz, Rector of the Graz University of Technology; Wu Zhaohui, President of Zhejiang University; Francisco PinIELLA, Rector of University of Cadiz.

SPbPU International Review covers a wide variety of events in which our university participated: from the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum to Sino-Russian University and Research Institute (Nanjing) Innovation Forum. The International Polytechnic Week 2021, German Week in St. Petersburg, Cyber-Physical Systems and Control Conference, Computer-Based Algorithms Conference, events dedicated to sustainable development and many other events are reflected in the pages of SPbPU’s new digest. The summer of 2021 was also rich in achievements: SPbPU representatives received awards from the Government of St. Petersburg and won the “International Student Recruitment” category of the annual EEUA award. In addition, the digest contains detailed reviews of the development of cooperation with partners from Asian, European, and Ibero-American regions, results of international projects, and interviews with foreign professors at SPbPU. Student activities and campus life are not left aside - the issue includes articles about the SPbPU Museum, achievements of student teams, and volunteer projects.

Polytechnics received awards from the Government of St. Petersburg

SPbPU International Digest has been published for over a year now. During this time we have more than once received warm words and wishes from our foreign friends and partners, who have noted how important it is to stay in touch in these difficult times, to share experiences, achievements, and simply pleasant and joyful events. The Digest gives a snapshot of Polytech’s most important activities, it creates our image in the eyes of our partners and colleagues in Russia and around the world. The Digest is sent out to over 1500 addresses around the world, including universities, companies, agencies, public and governmental organizations, alumni, colleagues in scientific and educational cooperation. It is difficult to overestimate the reputational significance of this publication. SPbPU International office is ready to further develop this communication project and are always open to interaction with the institutes and divisions of Polytechnic University, said Professor Dmitry ARSENIEV, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at SPbPU.
