SPbPU participated in the cultural and business mission to Baku

St. Petersburg and Azerbaijan are celebrating 20 years of partnership ties. As part of the anniversary, a large delegation headed by the city governor Alexander Beglov visited Baku. Polytechnic University was represented by Artyom Li, a master’s degree student of IIME&T.

During the visit, St. Petersburg residents presented the tourism opportunities and features of the hospitality sector of the Northern Capital, as well as discussed the prospects of cooperation with colleagues from Azerbaijan.

The partners signed a roadmap for cooperation between Azerbaijan and St. Petersburg, as well as agreements in the fields of education and medicine, transport and tourism, digitalization and trade.

Alexander Beglov also presented Artyom Li with a certificate of appreciation for his active public position and effective participation in the international business forum «St. Petersburg and Azerbaijan Expand Horizons of Cooperation».
