SPbPU presented Russian education at The Conference 2025 Spring Turkey Fair in Ankara

St. Petersburg Polytechnic University took part in a major educational exhibition The Conference 2025 Spring Turkey Fair, organized by the leading exhibition operator A2.

SPbPU was the only Russian university among the exhibitors. The event was also attended by universities from Europe (Sweden, Germany, France, Great Britain, etc.), the Baltic States, the USA, China, Azerbaijan and Middle East countries.

The visitors were particularly interested in the educational programs of SPbPU in English. The Polytechnic University was presented by Albina Bakurina, Deputy Head of the Department for Work with Foreign Students.

She told about the opportunities to receive scholarships of the Russian Government, as well as about enrollment in contract training. The SPbPU’s stand was very popular: throughout the exhibition there were queues of interested applicants and their parents.

It was a pleasure to note that applicants and their parents showed interest in Russia and, in particular, in SPbPU. Some visitors to the exhibition said that they were considering only Russia for higher education. Therefore, we hope for an influx of Turkish students to Polytechnic University, said Albina Bakurina.

As part of her visit to Ankara, Albina Bakurina also visited the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo. The meeting with the head of the representative office Ludmila Chalyshkan was devoted to the issues of promoting Russian education and strengthening the Polytechnic University brand in Turkey.
