Dmitry Arseniev, vice-rector for international affairs, welcomed the future students of SPbPU

Guys from the Institute of Cybersecurity and Computer Science, the Institute of Civil Engineering, the Institute of Machinery, Materials and Transport and the Institute of Industrial Management, Economics and Trade shared their experience and impressions of studying at the university.

Although the adaptation to learning a foreign language was difficult at first, over time it has paid off and opened new opportunities. I would especially like to recognize the efforts of teachers who create additional materials to help students in their studies. The atmosphere at the university is truly inspiring — the community here is incredibly warm and supportive, both academically and in extracurricular activities, said Marvin Bethel, a student from Botswana.

Representatives from International Services explained the enrollment process and answered questions from prospective students

Mustafa Ibrahim from Ethiopia, an IСE student, chose SPbPU because of its high international rankings, its status as one of the best universities in Russia, and its impressive campus with modern infrastructure: The academic environment here is stimulating, and the teachers are real professionals: they are always ready to help and share in-depth knowledge in their fields. During my studies I met students from Russia, India, Egypt, China and other countries, which greatly enriched my cultural and academic experience. The study program at Polytech is intensive, with an emphasis on practical skills and research.

Activists from PolyUnion, Nations’ Union and Tutor Forces spoke about communities and extracurricular activities for international students at Polytech.
