A major international scientific conference on construction was held at Polytech

The 3rd International Scientific Conference «Civil, Industrial and Urban Construction — 2026» took place at the Institute of Civil Engineering of SPbPU, as part of the All-Russian Scientific Conference «Civil Engineering Institute Science Week 2026». The event was held in person, with remote participation available for international speakers.

Dmitry Arseniev, SPbPU Vice-Rector for International Affairs; Marina Petrochenko, Director of the Institute of Civil Engineering; German Lotsev, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University; Olga Golushkova, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Belarusian-Russian University; Ousmane Sangho, Deputy Director for Cooperation and Education of the Department of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Mali; and Professor Li Yueyan from Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology (PRC) addressed the conference participants with welcoming remarks.

The III International Conference «Civil, Industrial and Urban Construction — 2026» brought together representatives of the scientific and professional community to discuss current issues in civil, industrial, and urban construction.

The conference was attended by scientists, researchers, design engineers, and experts from leading universities and design and construction organizations of Russia and foreign countries such as Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, China, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Cuba, Sri Lanka, Algeria, and others.
