Our university pays great attention to cooperation with BRICS+ countries both in academic and innovative spheres. Taking into account that the realization of breakthrough projects is possible only through joint efforts, we are pleased to offer our partners from the Arab Emirates the implementation of new approaches to training highly qualified engineering specialists, technology exchange and knowledge transfer not only in the bilateral format, but also in the BRICS+ space as a whole. Of course, a special role in building partnership relations is played by personal communication with colleagues within the framework of such business platforms as AIM Congress, said Dmitry Arseniev, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of SPbPU.

One of the most important events of the forum was the presentation of student technology projects (pitch sessions), as well as an exhibition of startups. Polytechnic University presented five projects.

It discussed such issues as building a culture of tolerance at the university. SPbPU is one of the leading universities in Russia in terms of the number of foreign students and these issues are certainly close to us. Currently, there are 35 university tolerance clubs in the UAE and active work is underway to involve universities from other countries in this movement.
