From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you on International Women’s Day on March 8! This holiday epitomizes the beauty, tenderness and wisdom of the beautiful half of humanity.

Since the founding of Polytechnic University, women have been actively involved in the development of education and science. Ekaterina Fyodorovna Kovalevskaya-Zazerskaya was the first Russian woman professor of chemistry, Lidia Nikolayevna Gall was engaged in physical electronics, and Dora Ilyinichna Leipunskaya was a Soviet physicist.

Intelligent, gifted and purposeful women and girls work and study at our university. They get new knowledge, are engaged in scientific research and achieve professional results.

On behalf of the men of the university I would like to express our admiration. You are not only the adornment of the whole university, but also the driving force in the field of education and scientific research. Your labor, professionalism and dedication deserve deep respect.
