Competition for international PhD students of SPbPU: Best International Grant for PhD 2024

In 2024, the competition will focus on the publication activity of foreign PhD students. Participants can submit summary information about their scientific publishing activity in SCOPUS, Web of Science, in journals included in the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles (VAK) list and the RSCI core, as well as publications including abstracts and conference papers.

Those international PhD students of Polytechnic University whose publications were affiliated with SPbPU and published between 2021 and 2024 are eligible to participate this year.

The level of publication and the presence of international co-authorship will be taken into account when evaluating the works. The foreign PhD students who score the highest number of points as assessed by the Expert Committee will be recognized as winners of the BIG PhD 2024 Competition and will receive grants and/or award payments.

The Best International Grant for PhD competition was a significant milestone in my research career. I hope that in the future we will see more such initiatives that will help young scientists to develop their research and contribute to science, said BIG PhD 2023 winner Ali Qais Adnan Ali from Iraq, a PhD student at SPbPU Institute of Energy.

Those wishing to participate in the competition can fill out the form and send it to the contacts listed here.
