SPbPU Representative Office in Shanghai is 5 years old!

On April 21, 2021, the SPbPU Representative Office in Shanghai celebrated its 5th anniversary. Polytechnic University was the first Russian university to open an official representative office in China. In 5 years, Polytechnic University has achieved significant results. SPbPU is an active participant in associations and partner networks such as Belt&Road Science and Innovation Network, Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities, Association of Belt&Road Universities, The Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization. Every year SPbPU takes part in the largest industrial exhibitions in China, technology transfer forums in Jiangsu Province, Belt&Road Science and Innovation Network forums, Russian Language Days in China, and many other events. Together with Chinese partners were created joint structures - Laboratory of Basic and Translational Neuroscience with Shanghai Jiaotong University, Laboratory of Aerospace and Electronic Technologies with Tsinghua University, Joint Engineering Institute with the Jiangsu University of Education, International Internship Center TU Xian - Polytechnic with the Xian University of Technology, etc. 

In the near future, the strategic priorities of the Representative Office are to expand cooperation with individual Chinese provinces and administrative centers such as Xi'an (Shaanxi Province), Nanjing and Kunshan (Jiangsu Province), Weihai (Shandong Province), Hebei Province, etc.
