The Best International Grant for PhD (BIG PhD) 2025 competition for international PhD students of SPbPU has launched
The BIG PhD 2025 competition is part of the grant program to support the best projects of international PhD students, implemented with the support of the «Priority 2030» program. The competition evaluates the publication activity of international PhD students at SPbPU.
The 2025 Competition accepts summarized information on the research activities of international PhD students at SPbPU, specifically:
- Scientific publications by international PhD students with SPbPU affiliation.
- Research grants and projects, R&D contracts and agreements, applications for research support competitions, in which the international PhD student is/was the supervisor or a member of the implementation team/working group.
- Results of intellectual activity (RIA) of the international PhD student.
- Participation of the international PhD student in scientific conferences, symposiums.
International PhD students who score the highest number of points will be recognized as winners of the BIG PhD 2025 competition. Based on the decision of the competition’s expert committee, they will be awarded grants and bonus payments.
International PhD students whose studies are completed in 2025 cannot participate in the competition.
Applications for the competition are accepted until October 15, at 6:00 PM. The competition is managed by the Department of International Inter-University Cooperation. The secretary of the expert committee is Maria Zhidkova, bigphd@spbstu.ru, +7 (812) 535-80-38.
