According to what I believe St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, is one of the most amazing places to study in Russia. The campus is well placed in the city giving us the feeling of not lost somewhere far. Even though English is rarely spoken outside the campus, it is still worthwhile enabling us to experience the life in the real International way. The department is extremely friendly and caters much of all of the needs of the students and supports them well.
While it is important to say that the Department and the University is filled with opportunities to excel oneself in new ways. With opportunities to learn and apply, I have had the opportunity to work the Gazprom Polytech REC, moving through various research projects, applying things that we know in a practical level.
In addition, one can also find fully funded external and international internships for the summer in different companies within Russia and outside. For myself, I had the opportunity to work with the Solid Mechanics Laboratory in Ecole Polytechnique, Paris, France during the summer which is one of the amazing experience SPbPU has to offer.
Conclusively, one can almost say, that Polytech is filled with opportunities that many other universities fail to provide to international students. And so far I have had had the best experience with the faculties, the department and Russia while studying at St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

As a master student of mechanics and mathematical modelling, I am satisfied with the education we have undertaken at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. I believe, upon graduation, I will have necessary skills which Oil and Gas industry requires. The focus of our education in SPbPU was to turn the theoretical foundations into practical applications.
Our program coordinator Ksenia Frolova was always very helpful and available for answering our questions about our education process.
Furthermore, I have enjoyed living in beautiful St. Petersburg and learning Russian. I have met many friends from different cultures while studying in St. Petersburg and I have made long lasting friendships.
Lastly, I would like to cite that, choosing this program in Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University was a good idea for determining my goals and consider my future career in this area.
